Responsibility
- to ensure adequate stocks of food and other associated goods are purchased and used in good time to minimise waste
- to support individuals with everyday tasks by involving them in food preparation and teaching cooking skills
- to ensure that health & safety compliance standards are met at all times
- to support people with their individual personal, social and healthcare needs when required and if necessary maintaining accurate records
- to prepare cook and store if necessary, evening meals for the people we support and staff in accordance with current health and hygiene legislation
- to create nutritional meal plans in line with what the people we support have chosen, whilst educating them around healthy food choices and eating a balanced diet
