- you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and executing refinishing processes with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship
- prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion
- mix and match paint colours to meet exact specifications, ensuring an accurate and flawless finish
- apply primers, basecoats, and clearcoats using appropriate techniques for a seamless and durable paint finish
- inspect and touch up painted surfaces to achieve a uniform appearance and correct any imperfections
- as a Body Shop Car Prep and Painter at Mini Medics Garage, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the impeccable finish of vehicles undergoing repair and customization
- operate and maintain painting equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects, maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
- familiarity with various painting tools and equipment
- strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and handling hazardous materials
- excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
