supply chain manager
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives
- analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- oversee the entire process of delivering a product or service to a customer, from sourcing raw materials
- to storing, transporting and distributing the final product to either the customer or to our retail outlets
- negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers, vendors, carriers and other partners
- manage inventory levels of saleable product, in-house supplies and work-wear and ensure adequate stock availability
- supervise and train staff in various supply chain functions, such as purchasing, logistics, warehousing and customer service
- liaise with the General Manager on matters of HR, fleet and health and safety
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- strong communication and negotiation skills
- good leadership and teamwork skills
- attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- knowledge of supply chain software and systems
- educated to degree level in a related field
