Responsibility

  • ensure all cleaning is maintained to a high standard as required by Abbey House
  • ensure the observance of safe working methods
  • work to agreed policies and procedures
  • assist in the maintenance of stock levels as required and report items for repair and replacement as necessary
  • in conjunction with other members of staff, ensure that good communications with clients, relatives and other visitors are maintained
  • to be aware of emergency procedures including fire precautions and drill
  • to undertake any other appropriate duties as required
  • liaise with Trained Staff with regard to those service users who may have an infectious condition and the precautions to be taken in the cleaning of their accommodation
