- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- manufacturing panel work and other sheet metal components to a high standard
- TIG and MIG welding of mild steel/aluminium and stainless steel, with the ability to pass weld testing
- preparing and cleaning welded components
- working to deadlines to achieve customer expectations
- experienced Welders and Vehicle Fitters required for our busy and expanding Engineering department to further strengthen our existing team. Full time position, excellent rates of pay dependent on experience and qualifications
- conforming to Quality assurance and Health & Safety standards
- the ideal candidate will need to be able to work from engineering instruction/drawings, be familiar with engineering principles, be able to use jigs fixtures and measuring tools on precision assemblies
- previous experience in vehicle assembly and maintenance would be beneficial. This could be within the automotive, rail, rail freight or similar industries
