Requirements
- level 2 or 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable
- experience of working in mental health, and an understanding and working knowledge of various mental health conditions, is essential
- high standard in literacy, numeracy and IT skills is expected
- current proven experience of working with young people with mental health needs in a one to one setting
- experience in providing information, guidance and support, with the ability to signpost individuals to appropriate organisations
- ability to take proactive and solution-focused decisions quickly using own initiative
- effective communication and active listening skills
- organisational skills and accurate record keeping
