Responsibility

  • nuclear Waste Services has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join their busy RACER team in Cumbria
  • the role will oversee the full project and task lifecycle including initiation, definition, planning, construction, commissioning and handover
  • the person will also be supporting Project Managers at a more junior level
  • working closely with the Sites main stakeholders the Programme delivers Tasks and Projects ranging from £50k to £25 million and above
  • as part of this role, you will have overall day to day responsibility and accountability for several multi-discipline Projects and Tasks, within the portfolio the and the post holder will be required to lead a team of Project Managers, Sub Project Managers and other Supply Chain staff to ensure delivery in accordance with the Life Time Plan
  • roles and Responsibilities
  • leading and supervising other team members to manage multi-disciplinary Projects and Tasks ranging from low to medium complexity
  • RACER ensures the Nuclear Waste Service site assets are renewed, refurbished, upgraded and improved where appropriate
