mechanical design engineer
Responsibility
- create AutoCAD design layouts
- create detailed layouts and schematics for installation purposes
- attend design team meetings on Teams and also on site
- attend site surveys as required
- produce mechanical design calculations in long hand format, and with software packages. Training can be provided if required
Requirements
- proven experience in AutoCAD
- familiarity with 3D Revit modelling software
- must be able to work independently and manage project and design requirements directly with the Director and Clients
- strong understanding of system mechanical design principles
- appreciation of electrical services, which developed by others within the business
- excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
