- we are looking for an individual with experience in bookkeeping and administration in a small / medium sized company to join our team

- the company has grown from a start-up in 2000 to the £multi-million turnover SME it is today operating from a 50,000 square metre plant situated on a 5 acre site with scope for further commercial development
- year by year the company has driven itself to diversify and offer our customers better value-added services from the supply of die castings, CNC machining, and assembled products delivered finished to our customers
- to be considered for this role, you must be experienced in bookkeeping and office management, as well as a thorough understanding of Sage50
- liaising and support our HR consultant
- to contribute to the preparation of Company's Financial Plan and budgets in conjunction with the Directors
- use of Sage 50 to run reports
- as part of our growth plan we wish to appoint an accomplished Finance & Administration Manager to join our senior management team
- you will be responsible for managing our office operations, overseeing our bookkeeping processes, and ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date
- assist with the day to day running / processing of accounts and payroll
- sales Order Processing / Reconciling
- develop forecasting and costing models
- updating Customer Works Order Books
- capital planning and investment appraisal
- liaise with external advisors on the preparation of statutory financial information
- holistic Office Management
- this is a varied role including but not limited to
- liaise with the company’s bank and maintain a sound business relationship in conjunction with the Directors
- supervising Admin Staff in areas such as Customer Invoicing and Credit Control
- production of accurate, consistent and timely monthly management accounts for the Board including results, KPI’s, detailed variance analysis, forecasts and commentary
- manage insurances
- review company internal controls
- to seek improvements in the Company's information systems
Requirements
- good accounting experience, preferably in an SME environment and ideally with some experience of manufacturing
- you will ideally be at least AAT Qualified or QBE
- competent with SAGE line 50

- you will have held a Finance Manager / Financial Controller or Office Manager level role for at least 1 - 3 years or at least have been ready for this level of promotion for the same timeframe
- project management experience
- appreciation of information security requirements under GDPR
- diligent, analytical and inquisitive with excellent attention to detail
- excellent Organisational Skills with ability to multitask and prioritise
