Responsibility
you would be working predominantly with our our Unified Endpoint Management and Collaboration portfolios
maintain knowledge of competitors in account to strategically position the company's products and services more efficiently
this role is part of a close-knit global team, who share best practices and collaborate on diverse projects across regions
you may invest time working with and leveraging external partners to deliver sales
we are in search of someone to join our sales team in the UK, that has a proven track record of building a territory, from a base of accounts
responsible for creating and driving their sales pipeline. Capture leads outside of specialization and use closed-loop lead management to ensure assignment and follow- up by others
use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities and expand and enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit
establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, up to and including the C-level for mid-to-large accounts, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry
Education
university or Bachelor's degree
directly related previous work experience, in a driven sales role
demonstrated achievement in a similar sales environment, diversity of business customer, and higher-level customer interface
extensive selling experience within industry and on similar products
3+ years of successful product sales in the software solution market
Requirements
understand the industry and market segment in which key accounts are situated and integrate this knowledge into consultative selling
understand the role of IT within the area of specialization, and how our solutions differentiate Micro Focus in the industry
account planning and accurate account revenue forecasting skills
collaborate with the management and sales teams in shared accounts to ensure seamless integration of specialist sales with other sales activities
cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure account retention & growth
develop a comprehensive knowledge of products and service offerings as well as competitor's offerings
leverage services as part of strategic product sales
