Responsibility
- to take meals and beverages to residents
- to ensure all used crockery and trays are returned to kitchen to ensure smooth meal and beverage services
- to communicate residents’ choices and requests to the appropriate department
- to ensure a clean and well-presented dining room is available at all times
- to have knowledge in modified diets adhering to IDDSI Levels and SALT guidelines
- maintain high levels of personal hygiene
- ensure all residents clothes, bedding, and towels are appropriately washed, dryed, ironed and labelled
- resiardrobes to be kept tidy and organised
Requirements
- able to work alone as well as part of a team
- some knowledge of working with vulnerable adults and dementia. Training will be given
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- ability to listen and learn
- ability to treat people with dignity
- to have flexibility and the ability to cover annual leave and sickness when required
