Responsibility
- safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- early start times to ensure timely delivery of goods
- inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and daily inspections
- maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries
- load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques - EXPERIENCE OF SECURING LOADS WITH RATCHET STRAPS ESSENTAIL, ALL VEHICLES ARE FLATBED
Requirements
- valid commercial driver's license
- clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- ability to pass a drug test and background check
- excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual handling if required
- good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- HIAB license would be an advantage, however training will be provided for the right candidate
