field engineer
Responsibility
designing, manufacturing and testing of job specific tooling and equipment
carrying out and reporting machine inspections, conduct relevant repairs or improvements and conduct planned preventative maintenance on equipment
providing mechanical assistance to breakdowns as required
conducting mechanical engineering tasks in the workshop which includes CNC operation, Lathe operations, TIG/MIG welding etc. as required
completing Meyn specific equipment training
following all health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations, maintaining a safe, clean and tidy work area including all tools and issued workwear

assisting with customer service administration duties
tracking, tracing and resolving delivery issues
liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries and stock discrepancies
main POC for general customer enquiries
