- collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute the menu, ensuring consistent quality and taste
- supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies
- ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are strictly adhered to
- assist in developing new menu items and specials, contributing your creative ideas
- maintain a clean and organized kitchen, leading by example for the team

Requirements
- proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a Mexican cuisine-focused restaurant
- strong knowledge of Mexican culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- excellent leadership and communication skills to lead and motivate the kitchen team
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality standards
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
