Responsibility
- support production team to maintain product quality output
- provide outstanding leadership and effectively manage performance of their direct report
- own and ensure adherence to the documented product specifications for inhouse products
- raw material quality audits
- finished goods quality audits
- reporting raw material or traded products quality deviations
- liaise with procurement to drive continuous improvement of quality within our vendor base
- supporting commercial team with customer enquiries or feedback relating to product quality
Requirements
- A background in product quality within an manufacturing environment
- product quality auditing
- experience of working with timber materials would be advantageous
- maintenance of external certification
- working with external product standards to ensuring ongoing compliance
- customer and vendor facing experience
- supporting vendor claims
- quality management systems
