support engineer
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- working on the Technical Department receiving and resolving support calls & emails
- troubleshooting problems remotely and escalating issues if required
- provide hands on 2nd line support for pre-deployment site setups and after sales customisation
- install, maintain, and configure new hardware and firmware
- support with setting up and managing Windows Server/SQL databases
- create documentation and knowledge base to empower users/clients to self-serve
- organising onsite electricians to resolve issues and assist in fault finding
- continuously participating in creating tools and processes which increase the number of issues which can be resolved
Requirements
- technical knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and SQL server
- experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process
- ability to create and query SQL Databases
- ability to extract applicable information during a troubleshooting process and use that information to help resolve issues remotely
- RF communications knowledge
- familiar with testing and validating electronic assemblies
- creating and managing database would be a plus
- hands-on hardware and firmware troubleshooting experience
