Responsibility
- strong numeracy skills are needed, With good punctuality, and also be physically fit to undertake lifting, loading and unloading
- other general shop floor duties include drilling, cutting, bending, degreasing aswell as other areas of the business where and when required
- previous experience in this sector is preferred and a welding and grinding test will be asked for during the interview
Show more +10 - production M.I.G Welder/Fabricator required to work within a very small but successful local steel fabrication company to assist a small friendly team with rapidly growing work load
- this position will be based on a 3 month trial period ongoing to a permanent contract for the right individual
- the role is for a M.I.G welder/Fabricator with good experience and knowledge of fabricating and welding thin gauge box section and sheet parts mainly for retail display components and bespoke framework
- basic hours of work will be 37.5hrs per week with Monthly pay to be paid on the 15th of each month
- the successful Candidate must have very good working qualities, Excellent time keeping, General health and safety knowledge, and be able to work comfortably within a small team
- the applicant must be able to read and work to detailed drawings and instructions whilst being able to prioritise their own workload
- basic working hours are
- mon to Thurs 8.00am - 16.30pm
- fri - 8.00am - 13.30pm
- extra hours will be required as/when the business needs and during our busy periods
