Responsibility

  • strong numeracy skills are needed, With good punctuality, and also be physically fit to undertake lifting, loading and unloading
  • other general shop floor duties include drilling, cutting, bending, degreasing aswell as other areas of the business where and when required
  • previous experience in this sector is preferred and a welding and grinding test will be asked for during the interview
  • production M.I.G Welder/Fabricator required to work within a very small but successful local steel fabrication company to assist a small friendly team with rapidly growing work load
  • this position will be based on a 3 month trial period ongoing to a permanent contract for the right individual
  • the role is for a M.I.G welder/Fabricator with good experience and knowledge of fabricating and welding thin gauge box section and sheet parts mainly for retail display components and bespoke framework
  • basic hours of work will be 37.5hrs per week with Monthly pay to be paid on the 15th of each month
  • the successful Candidate must have very good working qualities, Excellent time keeping, General health and safety knowledge, and be able to work comfortably within a small team
