Requirements

to have an electrical/security systems background
to have some experience of work
to be enthusiastic and motivated to learn both practical and theoretical skills
to be organised to keep on top of any paperwork e.g. job sheets, timesheets etc
sfS will deliver the Level 3 Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Technician Level 3 apprenticeship
to be punctual and have a tidy manner due to being customer facing and expected times to turn up to customer sites
to have a full driving licence and a vehicle to get you to/from our offices at CV11 6GX and to college or live within 10 miles of CV11 6GX and the ability to get a lift to/from our offices each day and to college when required
you will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gathering any site evidence needed to supplement your studies

Responsibility

to assist engineers with the installation of security systems
to assist engineers with the rectification of faults that have occurred on existing security systems
to assist engineers with the servicing of security systems
to ensure that the correct PPE is always worn
to ensure that correct paperwork is completed on each job and signed off by the customer
to complete and pass all the required college assignments and attendance at college throughout the course duration
