Responsibility
- repair, Service, Fault-finding and installation of AC & DC Rotating Machines
- fault-finding on break down equipment
- refurbishment of high and low voltage electric motors and generators
- produce Documentation of findings, work required, spare parts, materials and labour
- soldering/ brazing
- mechanical assembly work
- test & commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems
- wiring Modifications and Retrofit upgrades
Requirements
- 3 years' experience working as a service engineer or similar
- proven Electro-mechanical skillsets. with qualifications in either mechanical or electrical discipline
- proven ability to fault find in a range of demanding environments
- good Electrical/Mechanical understanding
- qualified to work safely with three-phase mains or generated power systems both on site, and in a workshop environment
- full Driving License is also desirable as occasional driving maybe required to support our operation
- minimum Qualification - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- PLC programming and fault finding experience
