Responsibility

  • one of the East Midlands Leading Groundworks subcontractors are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger/Office Assistant to join our busy team
  • duties to include
  • matching delivery tickets to invoices. Requesting POD’s
  • processing invoices and credit notes using manual and computer methods and entering on to Sage
  • coding and inputting of invoices
  • reconcile supplier accounts and investigating/ correcting any discrepancies
  • resolving supplier queries by phone and e-mail
  • answering the telephone, re-directing calls, and taking messages

Requirements

  • have prior Purchase Ledger Clerk experience
  • ability to manage high volumes of invoices
  • experience in accounting software
  • be self-motivated and highly organised
  • possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • be able to work to tight deadlines when required
  • be able to time manage and prioritise your work load
  • be driven to completing tasks and have a meticulous eye for detail
