MELBOURNE HOLDINGS is looking for employees for positions:

management accountant

  • management accountant

Responsibility

  • production of monthly management accounts for all group companies
  • manage and mentor the accounts team
  • reconciliation of monthly balance sheets for all group companies
  • production of the Group’s financial reporting including production of Statutory Accounts
  • work closely with external accountants during the annual financial audit process
  • preparation of the annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
  • production of quarterly VAT returns and reconciliation to nominal ledger
  • manage the Company fixed asset register

Requirements

  • have 3-5 years’ work experience in industry in a finance team
  • be competent with double entry book-keeping and understanding of the 3 financial statements
  • have experienced running a full month end process, including Group consolidated accounts
  • have Sage 200 experience
  • be working towards a finance qualification e.g. CIMA, ACCA
