melbec Microbiology Ltd are currently recruiting for a Microbiology Laboratory Technician / Microbiologist for our Lancashire based laboratory
the hours of work are 10am-6pm Monday to Friday
to support our weekend operations a 1 in 4 cycle will be required
will be laboratory based predominantly in the cosmetics laboratory initially and will be capable of carrying out most test methods
will be able to liaise with clients in a positive and professional way
A day off in the week will be given on the week of weekend working
will maintain equipment according to service plans and quality system requirements
will work in accordance with our UKAS accredited procedures and will help to continuously improve both our service to customers and our Quality System
Requirements
experience of working in a traditional, non-PCR based microbiology lab is essential with a minimum of 12 months experience
