Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- produce accurate and detailed electrical estimates for various projects, within set timescales
- liaise with customers
- follow up with customers to secure purchase orders
- liaise with management to submit timely and accurate tenders
- carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by management from time to time
Requirements
- at least 3 years' experience in electrical estimating and tendering
- sound knowledge within the electrical installations and relevant electrical City & Guilds vocational qualification
- strong work ethic and able to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are achieved
- able to communicate and build relationships in a professional manner
- ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
- we carry out work in schools and other educational buildings, hospitals and other medical buildings, leisure centres, shops, and offices
- thorough understanding of the electrical estimating requirements / variables
- ability to interrogate specification and contract conditions and apply the necessary risk contingency
