Responsibility
- provide expert legal advice and representation on employment law, regulatory matters, clinical negligence, and inquests
- working on both contentious and non-contentious matters, and in conjunction with employment and medico-legal advisors
- as an in-house solicitor at MDS you'll serve as a key legal advisor and advocate on a variety of employment law, professional discipline/regulatory, clinical negligence, inquests, and related matters for our valued members
- in addition, you'll play a vital role in providing in house legal guidance to our organisation and its associated companies, ensuring compliance with internal best practices and legal requirements
- assist other members of the team with their caseloads as appropriate
- draft and prepare documents, tribunal responses, bundles, witness statements and reports
Requirements
- experience of working with healthcare processionals including doctors, dentists, and nurses. Experience of NHS contracts and Agenda for Change
