registered manager
Responsibility
- ensure the service meets all CQC standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance with legislation, policies, and best practices
- work with HR to ensure staff files are kept updated – not limited to onboarding requirements, training certifications and skills matrix
- ensure all safeguarding protocols are strictly followed and that all incidents are reported and addressed in a timely manner
- take immediate action in the event of any safeguarding issues, reporting to the appropriate authorities when necessary
- implement and monitor risk management processes, maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients and staff
- conduct regular audits and quality checks to identify and address areas for improvement, and lead the service through CQC inspections with the support of the Medical Director
- prepare compliance reports for regulatory bodies and stakeholders, and coordinate the response to data breaches or incidents, including notification and remediation activities as required by law/
Requirements
- must hold current CQC registration or be willing to complete registration upon hiring
- level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
- at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a healthcare or social care setting
- thorough understanding of CQC standards, regulatory frameworks, and safeguarding procedures
- excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to high standards of care and professionalism
