Responsibility
- responsible for reactive & planned maintenance across all areas of engineering
- electrical & mechanical fault finding / problem solving on machinery/equipment
- project work – machine upgrades and new equipment installations
- working on heavy duty processing equipment & food production machinery
- carry out PPM schedules and update records
- maximising efficiencies and production output
- take ownership of health & safety working for yourself and machinery
Requirements
- must have electrical & mechanical qualifications
- ideally a multi-skilled maintenance engineer
- comfortable working on old & new kit – some that is heavy duty
- working in a close-knit team where everyone helps out in all areas
- food / FMCG experience in preferable
- ideally apprentice trained or be a time-served maintenance engineer
- good organisational and communication skills
- maintenance: 1 year
