Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • responsible for reactive & planned maintenance across all areas of engineering
  • electrical & mechanical fault finding / problem solving on machinery/equipment
  • project work – machine upgrades and new equipment installations
  • working on heavy duty processing equipment & food production machinery
  • carry out PPM schedules and update records
  • maximising efficiencies and production output
  • take ownership of health & safety working for yourself and machinery

Requirements

  • must have electrical & mechanical qualifications
  • ideally a multi-skilled maintenance engineer
  • comfortable working on old & new kit – some that is heavy duty
  • working in a close-knit team where everyone helps out in all areas
  • food / FMCG experience in preferable
  • ideally apprentice trained or be a time-served maintenance engineer
  • good organisational and communication skills
  • maintenance: 1 year
