Responsibility

  • being an active 'Team Leader' to support the supervisory and management team day to day
  • ensuring fast but excellent service of all food and drink
  • managing stock to minimise wastage
  • supervising the team, delegating tasks and promoting a positive atmosphere
  • ensuring the cafe is kept clean and maintained
  • deputise for the Cafe Managers in their absence and provide holiday/sickness cover when required
  • lead a bust weekend shift with confidence and responsibility
  • our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Requirements

  • good working knowledge of coffee calibration and extraction
  • experience leading a shift
  • experience working in a busy hospitality environment
  • good knowledge of ‘coffee culture’ and competent as a skilled Barista
  • can lead and motivate a team
