E&M Design Partnership is a long established Chartered Architect practice based in Chelmsford, Essex, founded in 1977. As a practice we are focused on delivering high quality architecture throughout Essex and South East of England
in addition to residential developments for both housing associations and property developers through to new build high-end luxury dwellings, basements and extensions for private clients
we have also done extensive amounts of work with listed buildings and conservation areas. In addition to projects located within the greenbelt, this including one off new build houses and agricultural designs
as a company we are seeking a talented Architectural Technician/Part 2 Architectural Assistant, with either a CIAT qualification or Part 2 qualification
the candidate will be working alongside an experienced team of professionals on a variety of residential and commercial projects, during an exciting time of growth within the company
the role offers you the chance to take control of projects from client liaison and design, through to planning/technical design and on-site completion
the ideal candidate will need good knowledge of UK building regulations, whilst having a good understanding of the design process. In addition to being comfortable dealing with clients, contractors and relevant consultants

experienced within the UK residential sector is essential
confident in dealing with clients and consultants

able to work on projects from conception to completion
proven task management and organisational skills are essential
