- the PCB Layout team are responsible for providing a full PCB Design Layout Service to all Internal Programs
- you will work with engineering teams to verify units and systems are designed and implemented to meet functional and environmental testing
- generate system, sub-system and product and software level requirements, specifications and interface definitions
- lead the planning, development and implementation of the assembly, integration and test of electronics subsystems and satellites payloads
- perform payload design trade-offs
- this role involves providing full PCB Design Layouts from Electronic, Mechanical and Environmental requirements
Requirements
- degree in relevant engineering or related field. Master’s degree or Doctorate preferred
- experience of designing PCBs to IPC class 3 / 3A
- an electrical engineering background, or experience testing electrical subsystems on a satellite payloads
- experience in the development of satellite/payload equipments highly desirable
- experience with a variety of communications electronics and payloads
- ability to write proposals to RFIs, including developing presentations to describe the technical approach in a clear manner
- experience in AIT campaigns for communication electronics and/or satellite missions
- experience of circuit and PCB design and simulation tools
