Responsibility
- safely operate a tractor-trailer truck
- transport goods and materials from warehouses to designated locations
- load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers
- complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately
- perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements
- valid commercial driver's license
- previous experience as a van driver, delivery driver, or in a similar role
- knowledge of flatbed operations is a plus
- ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers
- mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
- excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
