- mcNAMARA CONTRACTORS LTD is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Quantity Surveyor
- prepare bills of quantities from drawings and specifications
- prepare material schedules
- prepare budgets and other documentation
- measure and value work done on site
- prepare applications for payment, review valuations and check off payments received
- apply for extensions of time as necessary
- track changes to the design and to the construction method, and prepare variations accordingly
Education
- certificate of Higher Education
Requirements
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- able to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
- must have good organizational skills and attention to detail
- must have strong math skills
