- to perform vehicle maintenance or trouble shoot defects and carry out repairs as necessary
- to perform servicing and MOT preparation
- carry out occasional breakdowns using company service vans
- produce details of job on a job card, service sheet and daily time log
- strong experience that has both breadth and depth of knowledge of trucks, trailers, engines, gearboxes, axles, hydraulic systems, electrical diagnosis and be able to use diagnostic equipment
- communicate with supervisory staff regularly to keep them updated on the progress of your job • Be aware and responsible for Health & Safety of yourself and other employees
