Responsibility

  • take ownership of events from conception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver exceptional results
  • effectively communicate, maintain and develop client relationships with a view to retaining existing business and developing new opportunities
  • manage supplier relationships
  • collaborate with internal creative teams to develop and refine event concepts that align with client objectives to showcase innovation
  • deliver events and projects on time within budget and to meet and exceed client’s expectations
  • monitor and maintain quality and adherence to processes, identifying and contributing to their improvement
  • represent MCI UK as and when necessary or appropriate

Requirements

  • three years proven experience in event production/event management working for an agency
  • educated to degree level/professional qualification or qualified by experience
  • experience of planning, developing and delivering events and communication programmes in the private and/or public sectors
  • experience in logistics planning and management with the ability to make decisions around logistical elements of event planning
  • experience of working across industry sectors
  • good destination knowledge of UK and overseas
  • proven experience in negotiating with suppliers
  • confidence dealing with clients at all levels of the business - manage and respond to their requests and questions in a timely manner
