Responsibility
A sound understanding of Customs would be desirable
as a Customer Service Advisor, you will be expected to accurately take bookings via phone/email and input accurately on to our system which is the start point of all loads for collection & delivery
your record keeping and organisation skills must be of high standard as you will be expected to manage multiple queries/tasks at any given time while remaining calm un- der pressure and prioritise the work load at any given time
each day you will deal with customers, drivers and colleagues so good ver- bal skills, telephone manner and written communication is essential
this will be required as you work through queries, bookings, potential delays/re- fusals and any other issues that may come up each day while remaining calm under pressure
you will have to keep records of each day’s work should any questions be raised of a historical load or how issues on any given day were resolved
lastly you must be able to work well within an established customer service team but confident in approaching other departments and colleagues throughout the company depending on the nature of any query or issue you are looking to resolve
