The Company is committed to continuous improvement and innovation.To support new and current projects, we are currently seeking for a MIG Welder to join our team at the Ballymena Road site, Ballymoney.Key Responsibilities and DutiesTo operate MIG welding equipmentTo read/interpret and fabricate from AutoCAD drawings.Use precision measurement instrumentsCutting metal structuresResponsible for highlighting any faults or damage to the machine and its toolingThe capacity to produce the highest quality of parts in high variety and volume in a target-driven environmentAn awareness of the importance of health, safety, and environmental concerns in a manufacturing plantMaintaining high level of housekeepingAny other duties deemed necessary by Management.Essential CriteriaAt least 1-2 years welding in mild steel (Essential)Ability to accurately read & interpret AutoCAD drawings (Essential)Experience using measurement instrumentsExcellent attention to detailAbility to manage workload to meet project deadlines.Good Communication skills with the ability to work within a team structure, as well as working on individual projects with minimal supervisionDesirableMaking simple jigs and fixtures (Desirable)Other fabrication skills such as grinding, and fettling would be advantageousHours of work
