Responsibility
- complete mechanical assemblies in line with technical drawings or bill of materials
- planning assembly work to ensure on time delivery to the customer requirements
- ensure that all work carried out is in line with the customer specifications and standards
- assembly of cable energy chains and associated auxiliary equipment
- maintaining suitable storage of engineering components
- maintain workmanship standards and product quality to the highest standard
- check and complete paperwork associated with production orders
- take in deliveries and ensure that stock is stored correctly
Requirements
- mechanical engineering experience – 4 years
- the ability to read technical drawings
- knowledge of the equipment, tools and fixings associated with the manufacturing cycle
- A high attention to detail and a focus on delivering to high standards
- the ability to work on own
- A flexible approach and willing to take on all tasks that may be required
- possess a versatile bench fitting and assembly skill base
- A customer focussed approach
