Responsibility

  • ensuring that the production is cost effective, on time, of quality and are to the highest of industry standards
  • to ensure an effective use of materials from cutting lists
  • keeping the stock inventory system up to date
  • meet and exceed weekly production targets
  • physical strength and stamina also factor into working with raw materials
  • adhering to safe practices is a must for the health and well-being of the production operator as well as those they work with

Requirements

  • previous experience operating production machinery is preferred but not essential
  • must have proven experience within a factory environment
  • previous Manual handling experience essential as job involves heavy lifting
  • to be Health and Safety conscious
  • must have good hand-eye coordination
  • given the nature of material a good level of strength, and stamina is needed
  • good numeracy skills and understanding of measurements
