Responsibility

  • assist in coordinating and scheduling logistics activities, including transportation and warehousing to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • maintain accurate records and filing of shipments, inventory, and logistics-related documents
  • prepare and process shipping and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • track and monitor shipments, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise
  • assist in the management of inventory levels and stock replenishment
  • collaborate with other departments, such as production and sales, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of logistics activities
  • prepare and maintain reports, records and documentation related to logistics operations and performance indicators

Requirements

  • relevant certifications or training in logistics or supply chain management are desirable
  • minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in logistics or supply chain management
  • experience with logistics software and systems is preferrable
  • basic understanding of logistics principles and terminology
  • strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with different stakeholders
