Responsibility
assist in coordinating and scheduling logistics activities, including transportation and warehousing to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
maintain accurate records and filing of shipments, inventory, and logistics-related documents
prepare and process shipping and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
track and monitor shipments, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise
assist in the management of inventory levels and stock replenishment
collaborate with other departments, such as production and sales, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of logistics activities
prepare and maintain reports, records and documentation related to logistics operations and performance indicators
Requirements
relevant certifications or training in logistics or supply chain management are desirable
minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in logistics or supply chain management
experience with logistics software and systems is preferrable
basic understanding of logistics principles and terminology
strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
excellent written and verbal communication skills
ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with different stakeholders
