Responsibility

  • due to continued growth, we are looking for the right person to join our expanding team based in our Rossendale Office
  • the projects we have require experience in both residential & commercial development
  • you will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to identify, mitigate and communicate risks and issues as they arise
  • the ideal candidate will have a strong academic record and preferably hold a Royal Town Planning Institute accredited Masters degree in Town planning, or relevant equivalent qualification. Salary offered will be commensurate to experience
  • candidates will ideally have at least 2 years of experience in planning / development / land either in Local Government or private practice

Requirements

  • undertake site assessments, planning appraisals and providing initial advice and quotations to new and existing clients
  • prepare and submit planning and enforcement appeals
  • maintain an upto date knowledge of changes to planning legislation and local and national policy
  • establish strong relationships with Clients and Co-Consultants by ensuring an excellent service is delivered to new and existing Clients
