Responsibility
- achieve mastery of mission critical Fortran-based simulation software system
- we are currently looking for versatile developers to join MAYA Heat Transfer Technology’s Customization Services group
- use Agile development principles to develop, maintain, and integrate custom engineering software tools and products
- this group develops custom software tools and applications for MAYA’s clients in the field of engineering
- understand client workflows, requirements, and needs, and recommend solutions and best practices
- design, implement, and deploy new functionality
- maintain existing products and support client requests
- implement unit tests
Requirements
- advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or other related fields with an emphasis on numerical methods
- strong analytical and software programming skills with a proven track record of navigating large Fortran codes
- A background in numerical methods for heat transfer or structural analysis is desirable, including finite element methods
- excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- knowledge of with CAD/CAE platforms and engineering processes
- experience with CAD/CAE APIs, is a strong asset
- experience with versioning systems and project management tools is a plus
- ability to work in a team
