Responsibility
- manage financial records and maintain accurate bookkeeping entries for clients
- liaise with the bookkeeping team to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- perform periodic financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to clients to support decision-making
- collaborate with clients to gather and analyse financial data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance financial performance
- prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- conduct audits to ensure accuracy, integrity, and adherence to financial regulations
- assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for clients
Requirements
- qualified Accountant preferably with experience
- accounting
- proven experience as an Accountant; with your own client base, within an accounting firm or a similar professional environment
- thorough knowledge of UK accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws
- proficient in using accounting software and tools, with a strong ability to adapt to new technologies
- solid understanding of financial analysis and reporting techniques
- excellent analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
- strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
