Earnings on positions in MATERIALS MARKET
MATERIALS MARKET is looking for employees for positions:
- understanding of basic purchasing and sales fundamentals – Purchase Orders, Order Confirmations, Sales Invoices, Credit Notes etc
- good knowledge of building materials
- experience of working in the construction sector for minimum 3+ years – Distribution or Merchanting sales experience preferred
- report monthly to the Sales Office Manager and CEO on the performance of your customer portfolio
- actively pursue new trade customers who have not previously bought through Materials Market

- liaise with suppliers to source products and coordinate orders and deliveries
- work with the management team to stay up to date on products offered through the Materials Market site
- work to achieve KPIs as set out by the Sales Office Manager
- assist customers with use of the Materials Market site, placing an order, delivery times, products, deliveries or payments

- experience of using Xero – minimum 1 year
- experience of general invoicing practices, VAT etc
- experiences working within a construction company preferred – not essential

- attending to any correspondence and emails by customers, clients and contractors
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- upload daily supplier invoices on to the Materials Market platform and follow up with general invoice discrepancies with procurement dept
