  • we are seeking a dedicated and passionate MFL to join a brilliant school in Brighton, part of a wider-multi academy trust
  • plan and deliver engaging and interactive MFL lessons that cater to a range of abilities
  • assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and examinations
  • provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their language-learning goals
  • promote an appreciation for the culture and traditions of the countries where the language is spoken
  • organize cultural events, trips, or projects to enhance language learning beyond the classroom
  • explore innovative teaching methods, including the use of technology, to enhance language learning
  • keep up-to-date with developments in language education and share best practices with colleagues

Requirements

  • qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification
  • specialism in one or more modern foreign languages
  • strong language proficiency and a passion for language teaching
  • previous experience teaching MFL at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is desirable
  • excellent classroom management skills
  • commitment to continuous professional development
