Requirements
- physically fit and strong
- the ability to learn to safely pack and load vehicles
- honest & responsible attitude to customers property
- reliable with excellent time keeping
- some Saturdays/Sunday work will be required as and when necessitated
- full driving licence with a maximum of 6 points
- must have or be willing to obtain a valid passport
- truck driving: 2 years
Responsibility
- carry out daily vehicle checks on your allocated vehicle
- picking and loading the required removal equipment and materials
- checking with the Customer which items are to be moved
- dismantling and re-assembly of large items of furniture for moving
- packing customers contents into boxes
- drive, load/unload company vehicles in accordance with Highway Code Regulations, Safe Working Practises and VOSA Rules on Drivers Hours and Tachographs in UK and Europe
- lifting and loading items in excess of 25kg to the vehicle safely and without damaging items or premises
- working as part of a team to complete removal duties including packing, loading and unloading vehicles throughout UK and Europe which include nights away from home
