Requirements

  • level 1, 2 & 3 Food Handling Health & Hygiene Certificates
  • degree in culinary arts or hospitality related subject preferred. Other qualifications considered depending on experience
  • knowledge of cooking techniques and methods
  • minimum 2 years’ experience as a chef in a busy kitchen required working in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to use key kitchen equipment, e.g. stove tops, meat slicers etc
  • previous food handling experience
  • prepare and direct the preparation of dishes of the menu to a high standards
  • ability to bone meat, wash, peel and cut vegetables, and prepare a wide range of ingredients
