- marshall Wolfe are proud to be supporting our client a Consulting Botique supported by a large organization in their Search for a Senior Cloud Engineer
- this is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing and leading company in AI and Machine learning. Working with global organizations across the UK & Europe delivering innovative data soultions across a broad range of industries
- as a Senior Cloud Engineer you will be working closely with Clients and project delivery teams to build and manage the ongoing improvement of critical production systems in an automated and scalable way
- taking owner ship of project implementation and also collaborating with clients and other members of the team including engagement managers, internal specialists and architects, you will work closely with them on developing the core product and producing high-quality reusable compnsents that can be used across multiple components
- as well as this you will also ownership of operational incidents, performing root cause analysis, and managing changes required ti orevent future occurrences creating impact assessment documentation in rsponse to change requests related to Managed Service Platforms
Requirements
- experience building &/or managing live production systems/platforms
- 2 or more years of experience working with Amazon Web Services
- deep knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code toolset
- comfortable with scripting/automation of tasks
- high level understanding of databases, networking and storage systems
- experience with version control systems
- understanding of continuous integration and delivery
