Responsibility
- to support the maintenance engineers to attend plant & equipment breakdowns
- attend other scheduled meetings
- attend meetings in the Engineering Managers absence
- fire marshal duties
- plan and implement upgrades of existing equipment
- assist with or lead the installation and development of new systems and projects where required
- the post holder may be required to perform duties other than those given in the job description
- communicate with external companies daily to overcome breakdowns and plan improvements
Requirements
- minimum Level 3 Engineering Qualification
- level 4 Qualification (i.e
- experience working on automation
- experience writing and modifying basic PLC programs
- experience working within a team
- experience working in the plastics industry
- experience working with cartesian or articulated/ 6 axis robots
- 5+ Years’ experience in a FMCG manufacturing Industry
