Responsibility
- as a Driver you will provide a safe, reliable and effective delivery & collection service for Mark One Plant Hire
- keep an accurate record of deliveries and collections using paperwork and handheld devices provided
- you will be responsible for carrying out daily vehicle checks, ensuring any defects found are reported to your Manager
- although this role is primarily as a driver, during times that you are not driving you may be required to assist in the yard with general duties
- you will be required to carry out deliveries and collections to our customers in an efficient and professional manner, whilst being safe, responsible and adhering to the traffic laws and Highway Code at all times
- as the face of the company you will represent Mark One and portray a professional and business-like image to all customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work
Requirements
- A Full valid driving licence with appropriate entitlements
- digital Tacho Card
- experience of working in a commercial driving environment driving 19t vehicles
- the ability to produce and keep accurate paperwork
- excellent customer service skills and superb communication skills, both face to face and over the telephone
- full Driver CPC card
- the ability to work as part of a team
