Responsibility

  • identify opportunities to expand and extend Marionete’s role within your existing client portfolio
  • provide regular updates and revenue forecasts to the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer and the Executive Committee
  • work with the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer to develop and implement marketing campaigns and sales strategies to find new business opportunities and ensure the growth of the company’s customer base
  • respond to new business opportunities, mobilising a team with the necessary technical skills to help you lead the sale and facilitate the delivery of new software consultancy engagements to Financial Services clients
  • work with the delivery director and technical team to oversee the initiation of the client work, resolving any programme or staffing issues and building strong relationships within the client organisation
  • play an active role in Marionete’s Communities of Practice, which are cross-organisational groups of individuals with a specific technical or functional focus

Requirements

  • 5-10 year’s experience in leading IT services sales and consulting engagements, likely in a technology consultancy or SI
  • background of demonstrable growth within new business and existing clients
  • direct accountability for revenue and gross margin performance in a technology based-based consultancy or professional services business
  • A credible level of understanding of Solutions Architecture and Data Architecture in a cloud environment
  • experience in the UK Financial Services sector
  • A good understanding of how to implement successful IT programmes in an Agile environment
  • demonstrable experience in leading and motivating teams
