MARIO FURNITURE is looking for employees for positions:

carpenter

  • carpenter

Responsibility

  • working in residential, historic or commercial properties
  • reading blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements and specifications
  • confirming measurements and preparing the site for installations
  • working with the design team to resolve any issues prior to installations
  • installing fitted furniture including alcove shelves, cabinets, radiator covers and wardrobes
  • liaising with clients, suppliers, team members and other tradesmen in the completion of project on time and within budget

Requirements

  • full clean driving licence preferrable
  • proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
  • knowledge of building and construction practices
  • good verbal communication skills
  • ability to use and maintain carpentry machines, power tools and hand tools
  • strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • ability to interpret technical specifications, diagrams and drawings
